Refreshed with contrasting colour tones and fabric overlays, this new edition of the Nike SB Blazer Mid has arrived as part of the FA21 collection and presents a bold colour focused look with uppers crafted from a combination of suede and canvas with leather overlays. Retaining the same skate-driven performance features as previous editions, a Zoom Air unit can be felt within a foam insole at the core of the shoe whilst the patchwork effect uppers results in a statement aesthetic. The full length lace up fastening acts as a continuation of the same look with additional suede shapes at the eyestays and reinforced ollie zones on either side for increased abrasion resistance. The lightweight mesh tongue sits comfortably around the top of the foot with a woven label showing signature Nike SB branding over its top edge and continued branding around the back of the heel presents embroidered ‘Nike’ lettering stitched in different colour tones against a mesh inlay panel. Additionally, large Swooshes have been placed on either side of the foot with an experimental mismatched look. Enhanced by gum tone overlays around the toes and heel, the white rubber outsole has been fused to the uppers using a durable vulcanised technique and underfoot a grip-focused tread pattern delivers reliable skate-focused traction across a variety of terrains.
