Nike SB

Proving to be a big year of hyped collaborative releases, the beginning of summer saw Nike SB and the Jordan brand come together once more to create a ‘Midnight Navy’ edition of the Nike SB x Air Jordan 1 Low, designed in alliance with pro skater Eric Koston. In close union of this, the Nike SB Air Jordan 1 OG Defiant Shoes have maintained their legendary court, street and skate status since being first introduced in 1985.

2019 marks a decade of the Stefan Janoski skate model and welcomes a year-long series of crafted, remastered and slip-on models. Closely following this, Air Trainer 1 and Blazer Low GT models adorned with royal blue accents and crisp summit white inserts captured the creative style of Malmö based Polar Skate Co., resulting in a modern take on designs pulled from Nike’s archive.

Embodying the character of two legendary teams - the Golden State Warriors and the Chicago Bulls - the Nike SB x NBA collaboration introduced a unique paint effect across the uppers of two footwear models, designed to reveal the colourful hidden layer underneath, whilst an ongoing ‘Support Your Local Skate Shop’ Orange Label campaign arrived exclusively to a selection of UK skate stores and features safety orange accents in celebration of original Nike branding.

The end of 2018 was full of energy and saw an exclusive drop of the Nike SB x Diamond Dunk Low Pro OG Shoes and the Nike SB x Concepts

‘Purple Lobster’ Dunk paid recognition to the ‘Red Lobster’ 2008 original with a flash of voltage purple. Whilst Jeff Staples’ ‘Panda Pigeon’ Dunk Low offered a combination of references to New York City and China.

Complementing the array of impressive footwear releases, a range of imaginative graphic t-shirt styles incorporate nostalgic cartoon style imagery, including gophers, karate and a queen playing card across premium cotton silhouettes that make for easy go-to styles throughout the warmer months. Additionally, the Travel Pack ensures you’re good to go with any travel plans, and incorporates island-infused style with a focus on breathability and easily packable fabrics.

Nike SB continue to pioneer and challenge the traditional skate shoe market with their focus on innovation, combined with a historical reputation within sportswear design. Pairing with an international team of skaters including Eric Koston, Ishod Wair, Kevin Bradley, Kyron Davis and Polar’s Hjalte Halberg and Oski Rosenberg-Hallberg, signature Janoski and Grant Taylor pro styles boast an array of the latest skateboarding-focused tech features and premium materials, resulting in reliable, skate-ready footwear every time. Our clothing and footwear range at Flatspot includes a continuous selection of reworks, upgrades and updates across an extensive range of experimental silhouettes.
