Nike SB Stefan Janoski
The Stefan Janoski was the first original shoe that Nike SB designed that became as iconic as the Dunk and Blazer SB releases before it. Stefan Janoski demanded a super slimmed down really skateable shoe that focused on board feel, control and comfort while creating a unique and relevant style with strong personal design references from golf and boating footwear. In contrast to previous Nike skateboard shoes, a simple single layer tongue and upper was employed.
with little padding around the inner heel, the simplicity accentuated by the first embroidered swoosh in the Skateboarding Nike range. As default by design the Janoski upper quickly demonstrated durability via the un-complicated toe box with no stitching or excess panelling to blow out. The boat shoe vibe was brought through with the toe box stitching and leather laces, more prominent in the earlier releases.
The new Hyperfeel collection, while retaining the original lines and intent, sees the Janoski get updated with a fitted tongue sock, Lunarlon inner sole and the super flexible hyperfeel outsole. The 4 launch colour ways included classic black / white and black / black are available online now.
