Adidas Busenitz

Inspired by the famous Copa Mundial football boot, the adidas Busenitz is continually refreshed each season through a selection of colourways and premium materials that help to keep the pro model looking its best. In 2019 the Adidas Busenitz Vulc II Shoes were introduced as a reengineered version of the much loved original Busenitz model, with a slimmer silhouette adorned with flashes of gold metallic and solar red for a striking look against smooth suede uppers. As always the shoe has been created in partnership with long-time team rider Dennis Busenitz who brings his expertise in performance to each new edition.

Influenced by typical skate shoes of the ‘90s, the original Busenitz differs from most modern skate shoes with it’s bulkier design but has become a firm favourite for skaters who prefer greater coverage and an old school look. Crafted with a focus on speed and technical precision, at the core of the design a GEOFIT cushioned heel supplies impact support during demanding skate sessions and an abrasion resistant Adituff toe piece

protects the foot from repetitive knocks. Signature three stripe decoration can be found on either side of the foot, alongside perforation holes which encourage airflow to keep you cool and the tongue is purposely elongated to allow you to choose between keeping it as it is, or trimming it to suit.

A key player on the adidas skateboarding pro team since 2016, Dennis Busenitz spent his first 10 years rolling around the streets of Munich before his family made the move to the US which led him to gain sponsorships from Volcom, Spitfire, Bones Swiss and Thunder. Known for his part within adidas’ Away Days and more recently the Introducing /// Rodrigo x Busenitz part which paid homage to Busenitz’s signature footwear style in addition to the years Rodrigo Teixeira has spent skating for the iconic sportswear brand, Busenitz shows no sign of slowing down and continues to work with adidas to create new interpretations of his self entitled shoe which has gained a dedicated following thanks to its performance abilities and classic aesthetic.
