The Nike SB Blazer Chukka Shoes are an essential for this time of year, the durable suede upper has been finished in a subtle violet star colourway. This tone is echoed in the cotton laces as well as the leather patch on the heel, which is embroidered with Nike branding. The lateral panels feature a white leather swoosh, matched by the midsole. Despite a simple aesthetic, the Blazer Chukka Shoes feature a function heavy design including a Zoom Air unit in the sockliner which delivers responsive cushioning as well as a solid rubber outsole with herringbone pattern to provide traction and boardfeel.
The SB Project began in 2002, reinventing classic designs which had already been incorporated into skate culture - such as these Blazers - with a greater focus on performance. This has attracted the likes of Stefan Janoski and Nyjah Houston who skate for the brand.
