    Founded by photographer and creative Andy Mueller in 1997, The Quiet Life is an inspiring lifestyle clothing company that is full of art, music, photography and outdoor activities. Based in California, the clothing brand goes by the tagline ‘on and off’ which explains Mueller’s approach to design since launching the brand as a side project to his time spent designing for Girl Skateboards and Art Dump. Across each seasonal collection, the relaxed vibe from TQL represents Mueller’s vision for his own brand designs which is never adding too much where it isn’t needed and not repeating the same thing twice. Relaxed cuts, collaborations with skilled artists that vary each season and have included the likes of Beth Hoeckel, Carlos Gutierrez and Ben Venom during previous releases, and a fun approach to design proves popular with those looking for skate clothing that isn’t overdone with branding or details.
    Growing up as a keen skateboarder, BMXer and photographer, Mueller’s upbringing continues to inspire him across all of his projects. The Quiet Life promotes its own digital ‘Camera Club’ which encourages photographers of all levels and ages to submit their work, resulting in an online space full of images taken around the world.
