The Stussy Shield Short Sleeve Shirt offers a relaxed summer ready fit, with a cuban style open collar. Made from a viscose and rayon blend which is perfect for the hotter months considering their lightweight and breathable properties, equally this offers a more formal styling thanks to a full length button closure flanked by a single chest pocket on the left-hand side. The shirt features a black backdrop; with an all over shield print in contrasting gold, lilac and white.
Stussy was founded in 1979, with humble beginnings in Laguna Beach as a Surfboard company operating out of Shawn Stussy’s garage. Taking inspiration from the rich Californian culture, and combining it with global subcultures, the brand fed into a niche market. The popularity spiralled, and within a decade they opened up a flagship store in New York which employed the likes of James Jebbia. Now, with over sixty stores they have collaborated with Nike, Supreme and Bape amongst other global brands.
