Crockett
Seen here is the Crockett edition of the Summer Shirt from Mollusk, this is a slim cut style made from a lightweight blend of cotton and linen, perfect for hot summer days. An all over vertical stripe design includes tones of pink, blue and light brown which gives this shirt a retro look alongside the collar neckline which can be fastened to the top or left un-done for a more relaxed fit. The button through front offers the same and suggests a choice of this style being worn on top of your favourite t-shirt. The hem of the body is slightly curved, which adds subtle shaping.
Based in California, Mollusk design their seasonal collections with a focus on fit, quality and fabric which portrays the brands outdoor oriented lifestyle. Integrating art, design, surf, music and film into all that they do, the SS19 collection includes a fresh selection of easy-going styles and features work from the likes of local artists Jeff Canham and Schuyler Beecroft.

Focusing on ‘community, craft and appreciation for the planet’, Mollusk’s commendable approach to sustainability is reflected through their coastal spirit and their passion for environmental activism. Organic cotton and hemp are frequent fabrics that cater to the brand’s laid-back aesthetic, whilst their passion for culture allows the brand to welcome a broader remit that addresses both community integration and the notion of shared eco-minded initiatives supported by shared identities and the brand’s ‘cultural institution’ namesake.
