Vans Rowan Pro Shoes

Arriving as part of the first batch of Rowan Zorilla pro models, this Parisian night colourway in the Vans Rowan Pro Shoes has been constructed using a combination of smooth suede and durable synthetic fabrics. The toe vamp has a suede overlay that continues around the edge of the toes to help protect against repetitive ollie impacts and also runs along the edge of the laces which have been colour matched to suit the rest of the design. The padded tongue is made from hard wearing fabric and has a woven Vans x Rowan collaborative logo sewn onto the top edge. Matching the tongue, the side panels feature the same material and have subtle top stitched side stripes which replace the usual leather overlays. Around the back of the heel a curved leather insert provides a backdrop for an embossed V logo design and below an additional curved suede section strengthens the key stress area. Throughout the inside of the shoe fabric lining provides all-day comfort whilst two metal eyelets on the inner panel have been added to encourage ventilation. A removable, moulded PopCush footbed provides impact protection and elasticated tongue-centuring straps help to keep the foot in place when on the move. The matte parisian night coloured sickSTICK rubber outsole stands up to repetitive abrasions and a red and white Vans Off The Wall heel stamp sits on the back of the heel. Underfoot the tread pattern features a waffle-hexagon profile for increased grip, flexibility and durability.

Having been signed to Vans since 2013 and featured in videos such as Baker 4, Propeller and various ‘Shep Dawgs’ parts, Rowan Zorilla is known for his adaptive style and playful personality. Helping to shape Zorilla’s career, his upbringing in Vista, California led him to meet a collective of skaters who call themselves the ‘Shep Dawgs’ which includes the likes of Taylor Smith, Riley Hawk, Nick Popes and Tanner Cribbs that have been a definitive element on Rowan developing his own style and making his way into the industry.
