Freshening up the Old Skool Pro with a new colourway for this season, Vans have offered a checkerboard golden oak colourway. With suede and canvas used for the upper, a white side stripe features in leather, accompanied by the clean midsole. Revamping a skate classic, the Vans Old Skool Pro has been updated with the inclusion of rubber reinforced underlays in high wearing areas and a sockliner which gets you closer to the concrete. Keeping with the OG design, the shape and silhouette of the Old Skool remains unchanged, complete with the original waffle outsole. Vans branding can be found on the side flag label, the rubber heel patch on the reverse and throughout the iconic checkerboard styling on the upper.
The Vans Old Skool debuted in 1977 as the Style 36 and showcased the now synonymous Vans side-stripe. Worn by skaters throughout the years since, the silhouette received an upgrade coming as the Old Skool Pro. Combatting the needs of modern skateboarding Vans have taken all the best bits and made it better.
