With cord being a strong favourite for SS19, the Pop Trading Company x Miffy Bruna Cap is an easy cop offering style and quality in one. The cotton cord has been used to create an unstructured six panel construction, something that’ll maintain a snug fit while giving room for comfort and breathability. Ventilation is enhanced due to embroidered eyelets that surround the crown, additionally the leather backstrap is adjustable, fastened through a brass clasp, for a customisable fit. The flat brim also helps to keep the sun out of your eyes and you skating for longer. The Miffy Bruna Cap has been finished in navy, with the Miffy character embroidered on the front and Pop branded detailing at the rear.
Miffy was designed by Dutch artist Dick Bruna in the fifties. This collaboration seemed obvious for the duo’s shared interest in simple designs and Dutch heritage. Pop Trading Company is a more contemporary designer, having been founded in 2013 in order to try and integrate the skating communities of Holland, Belgium and Luxembourg.
