Pop Trading Company Van Gogh Long Sleeve T-Shirt

As part of a capsule range that focuses on the work of Vincent Van Gogh, this black long sleeve t-shirt from Pop Trading Company is made from heavyweight cotton and features a large screen printed illustration on the centre of the chest. Designed for casual everyday wear the curved neckline has a narrow ribbed trim and on either side of the body short side slits help the fabric to sit neatly over trousers. Originally painted between 1885 and 1886, the design on this t-shirt shows a famous painting by Van Gogh entitled ‘Skull of a Skeleton with Burning Cigarette’ which can be seen in the permanent collection of the artist in the Museum of Amsterdam. The sleeves and body have straight cut hems.

Based in Amsterdam Pop Trading Company was founded in 2003 by Peter Kolks and Ric van Rest who describe their company as a menswear inspired skate brand. Inspired by their local community, culture and growing up in the ‘90s, each collection demonstrates a focus on fabric, cut and quality with neat embroidered branding and custom artwork which differs between each season.
