Pop Trading Company Joost Swarte T-Shirt

Featuring one of Joost Swarte’s best loved comic characters, this white Joost Swarte T-Shirt features a collaborative design that has been created especially for Pop Trading Company’s AW20 collection. Made from 100% cotton and designed for casual everyday wear, the curved neckline has a narrow flexible trim whilst the body and short sleeves have clean, straight cut hems that allow for easy layering throughout the year. On the left side of the chest stylised ‘Pop Trading Company’ lettering has been applied in black ink and on the reverse a vibrant yellow version of the brands distinctive logo covers the shoulders with Joost’s famous Jopo de Pojo character illustrated on top of the ‘O’.

Famous for creating characters such as Katoen en Pinbal, Jopo de Pojo, Anton Makassar and Dr Ben Cine and a clear line style of drawing as he’d coined it, Joost Swarte has a playful approach to design and has been invited to bring his own charm to a selection of apparel styles from Pop Trading Company for AW20. Continuing to show their support for local creatives and their favourite artists, Pop Trading Company have so far collaborated with artists such as Popeye The Sailorman’s creator, Dick Bruna whose Miffy character remains a firm favourite with children and fellow Amsterdam based by Parra.
