Seen here in a port blue colourway, the Skyforest Parka from Patagonia is a colourful outerwear style made from a selection of 100% recycled materials. Designed with a split colour aesthetic which continues across the sleeves, the shell is made from 100% recycled nylon that has a durable water repellent finish and a 100% recycled polyester lining runs throughout the body and sleeves. The long front fastening includes a zip and snap button closure that acts as a barrier from the elements and leads up to the attached hood which can be adjusted using red cotton pull cords. A selection of zip secured pockets provide space to safely store essentials, including two upper body and side pockets as well as a hidden internal pocket on the left side of the chest. Allowing for a customisable fit, the waist and hemline can be adjusted using hidden red pull cords. Ideal if you’re in need of outerwear that is water resistant and warm, the retro style aesthetic is complete with a woven Patagonia label on the chest.
A bright addition to Patagonia’s extensive selection of environmentally conscious outerwear styles, this Parka showcases the brands aim to develop purposeful clothing and accessories that utilise new developments in textiles and design. Founded in 1973, a focus on durable high quality products continues to be at the forefront of Patagonia, alongside an attitude of ‘don’t throw it, fix it’ which hopes to persuade many of us to be more conscious in our purchases.
