Cedar Mesa Big: New Navy
Arriving as part of the autumn/winter ‘19 range in a new patterned ‘Cedar Mesa Big: New Navy’ colourway, this Lightweight Synchilla Snap-T Pullover Jacket is made from 100% polyester and has been cut to a regular fit with wide joint sleeves. The stand-up collar neckline offers protection from the elements and a four button snap button placket allows for easy fastening and ventilation. The all over print brings a fresh character to the design whilst the signature Monte Fitz Roy logo can be found on a woven label added onto the left side of the chest. Below this a pocket is highlighted through a turquoise coloured 100% nylon plain weave flap which is secured by a snap button closure. Encouraging a secure but flexible fit, the sleeves and body have elasticated trims.
Based on the original Snap-T Pullover which was first worn by Patagonia founder Yvon Chouinard during the 1980’s, this style has been a part of seasonal ranges for over thirty years. Originally inspired by a wool red sweater, a quicker drying polyester alternative was created to better suit climbing excursions and features such as the wide joint sleeve and elasticated cuffs were introduced to ensure a secure fit that wouldn’t interfere with movement.
