A casual yet stylish looking shirt perfect for SS19, the Patagonia Go To Shirt really is a go to. It is lightweight and breathable, constructed from a poly cotton blend ideal for travelling and wear in warm conditions while equally being easily unpackable without wrinkles. However the slim fit combined with a shirttail hem and buttoned front pocket give it the versatility of a respectable look suitable for lunches and meetings. Its body is decorated in dyno white, a subtle cream, with an all over print of palm leaves in brown with slight accenting of orange and blue.
The 60% organic cotton, 40% recycled polyester weave does not only offer a comfortable blend but also reflects Patagonia’s commitment to a greener production process. The organic cotton is used in all cotton products by Patagonia, who took the extra financial burden upon themselves and don’t pass it onto customers, while the recycled polyester has been used for two decades through a blend of plastic bottles as well as some of Patagonia’s own clothes which are then up-cycled.
