Nike SB Shane Shoes

As Shane O’Neill’s first signature shoe, this fresh summit white edition of the Nike SB Shane Shoes stands out from the crowd thanks to a selection of custom details that reflect the team riders own personal taste. As a remastered design that has been made to perform, the one piece toe vamp is made from smooth suede and perforation holes have been added along the lower edge of the tongue to encourage ventilation. The tongue is made from textile and features a suede label that curves around its top edge with a red printed logo design that incorporates O’Neill’s initials within an earthy sun-inspired graphic with ‘Shane’ lettering underneath. The lacing system differs from conventional models and allows you to choose between fastening the colour matched laces normally or using durable ghillie loops for a secure fit. Outlined Swoosh ticks have been printed in red for signature branding against a suede panel that continues around the back of the heel with a textile section below. Throughout the inside a fabric lining has been added for comfort and a Zoom Air unit sits within the heel for impact support. Bringing extra durability to a high wear area, an extended rubber toe bumper sits around the front of the shoe whilst slightly higher taping between the midsole and uppers helps to create a more consistent flick.

Native Australian Shane O’Neill is known for his highly technical board style and as being a member of the SLS ‘9 Club’ after scoring 9.9 at the Street League competition back in 2013. Having been signed to Nike SB when he was just 13 years old, O’Neill made the move to the USA to further his career and has since successfully achieved an array of awards and personal milestones; such as his first signature style. Inspired by his own experiences in wearing a selection of skate shoes over time, he set out to create a great skate and everyday shoe and has done just that.
