Nike SB Shane Shoes

Designed in collaboration with team-rider Shane O’Neill and arriving as a refreshing new colourway across his first signature model, these summit white, racer blue and pink blast Nike SB Shane Shoes are a welcome addition to the three-part release from the Nike SB Tokyo Rawthentic Collection for the now postponed 2020 Olympic Games. Styled with smooth-suede and cotton canvas uppers fitted with ornately placed perforation decals for added comfort and breathability, these low-profile skate shoes offer the very best in lightweight practicality and performance-focused stylings. Fitted with Nike’s iconic Zoom Air unit in the heel for added cushioning and responsiveness, a full-length foam ‘Shane’ branded sockliner and with a remastered rubber outsole for a more broken-in vibe, these neutral shaded sneakers are well-suited to any highly energised skate setting. Slightly higher taping between the midsole and uppers provides added resilience and consistent flick, whilst the unique and well-concealed ghillie-loop lacing system helps to keep the flat ribbon-like laces securely fastened across the flat tongue for longer. Loyal to his previously released designs, debossed Swooshes decorate the extended eyelet panels across both the exterior and interior midfoot, with the exterior showcasing racer-blue Swooshes and the inward-facing side panels decorated with pink-outlined Swooshes for added conceptual depth. The ankles are quarter-accented with pink-blast canvas collars above Shane’s exclusive semi-transparent ‘Nike SB’ sun crest logo across the rear midsole, whilst custom bright-blue insoles and debossed rising-sun logos across the tips of the tongue are matched by a singular pink-blask miniature Swoosh for added impact and character.

Following on from his collaborative Zoom Janoski release in 2017 and the numerous refreshing colourways cast across his first-ever pro model, these Nike SB Shane Shoes set about celebrating individuality at every step with their creative character and unrivalled aesthetic. Part of Nike SB’s Rawthentic release in honour of the Tokyo 2020 Games, a collection they also designed in collaboration with Danish visionary Piet Parra, these simplistic yet skate-specific shoes set about delivering the ultimate level of comfort and cushioning.
