Summit White, Racer Blue, Pink Blast

Following on from the recently released colourways from this year, these Nike SB Nyjah Free 2 Shoes are designed in collaboration with free-spirited team rider Nyjah Huston and arrive as part of the Nike SB Tokyo Rawthentic Pack released to coincide with the now postponed 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo. Inspired by the classic 1997 Nike Spiridon with its original 360-degree rubber design, welcomed updates are received through the inclusion of mesh side-panels across the upper midfoot for added comfort and durability. The full-length foam sockliner generates well-cushioned wear through any active skate session, whilst the innovatively designed rubber outsole is set to expand and contract to suit both the movement of the foot and the terrain it’s paired with. A sleek ghillie-loop lacing system replaces traditional lacing methods helping to keep the profile securely fastened across the arch of the foot, with the summit-white rounded laces weaving neatly across the flat tongue and the ‘Nyjah’ printed pull-tabs. Mix-matched Swoosh print detailing is displayed across both the exterior and interior side-panels with the exterior detailing a racer-blue Swoosh outline and the inward-facing panels showcasing a block-tone pink blast Swoosh that mimics its fellow collection counterparts the Bruin React and Nike SB Shane. Vibrant dye-wash inspired padded trims are added to the ankle collar in shades of pastel pink, dark purple and midnight blue, whilst the cap-like ‘Nike SB’ branded heel brace, custom ‘11’ printed heel pull-tabs, the ‘Nyjah Free’ etched detailing across the midsole and the blue-printed commemorative scripture below the collar all help to seal this exclusive skate shoe off with a sense of enlivened character.

Complementing the Obsidian Gold colourway released in June, these brightly-accented Nyjah Free 2s deliver a game-changing sense of appeal through their rubberised structuring and their well-formulated lacing system. Combining modern skateboarding style with Nike SB’s latest appointment as co-designer of the team kits for the USA, Brazilian and French Olympic teams with Danish artistic visionary Piet Parra, these skate shoes arrive as a welcomed addition to the sportswear brand’s highly anticipated Tokyo Rawthentic release.
