Featuring in a deconstructed minimal silhouette, the New Balance Numeric 379 keeps things mellow with this red and white colourway. With a low profile design and updated vulcanised sole, suede encapsulates the upper for optimal flick and boardfeel, accompanied by an elastic gusseted tongue for a locked in fit. Working with a tapered heel design on the reverse, the toe sees internal hidden protection for added durability. Keeping with the low-key design, New Balance branding has been added in white to the tongue and upper, offering subtle contrast. Gripping you to your board, the tried and tested herringbone outsole has been added for good measure.
Adapting running technology for skateboarding, New Balance has successfully introduced some key silhouettes into their Numeric line up. This includes the 379, 255 and the 440. Since launching in 2013, the New Balance Numeric skate team has flourished, with Tom Knox and Jamie Foy joining the ranks.
