New Balance Numeric 288 Shoes in White and Red. Featuring a twin rubber cupsole for retro styling the 288 Sport New Balance Numeric remains a firm favourite and has been improved further for 2021 with the latest developments that provide a high level of comfort, functionality and traction to suit a variety of terrains. The smooth uppers give the low cut silhouette a contemporary look with a single piece across the toe that presents embossed lines with no seams to reduce the risk of tearing. On either side of the foot perforation provides ventilation with ‘N’ emblems above outlined in red and additional branding can be seen on the fabric tongue which sits below colour the matched lace up fastening. For a secure, sock-like fit a 4-way stretch collar holds the foot in place when on the move and throughout the inside of the shoe the soft fabric lining provides further comfort with decorative red panelling alongside a branded Ortholite sockliner. A fabric pull loop has been positioned on the back of the heel for ease of entry and the full length CCAP midsole has been constructed in lightweight molded EVA to improve shock absorption and general comfort. Completing the design, the improved tread pattern has staggered depths for a noticeably better level of grip.
Combining heritage elements with contemporary performance features, the first release from New Balance Numeric for 2012 showcases the brands ability to design premium athletic footwear styles that cater to the needs of professional skateboarders and enthusiasts. Drawing inspiration from their own brand history and a selection of team riders such as Tom Knox, Brandon Westgate and Jake Hayes, New Balance are known for their contemporary aesthetic and for introducing new features that provide the best in comfort, impact support and boardfeel.
