Launched in 2002 and rooted in East and West Coast culture, HUF apparel draws creative influence from a passion for counterculture reference, skate and streetwear nostalgia. Starting in NYC and known for his ‘HUF ONE’ tags during the late ‘80s, the late Keith Hufnagel relocated to San Francisco during the early ‘90s to pursue his own passion for skate. Opening a small boutique in San Francisco’s Tenderloin District, HUF launched its first apparel collection in 2007, with the brand’s explorative narrative continually inspired by a passion for celebrating art, music, film and photography culture. Exposing individuals to a world free of prejudice and restriction, HUF celebrated its 20th anniversary in 2022, with influential edits including releases such as Contact High, SF Rough Cut, Dot and River. Collaborations with the likes of Thrasher Magazine, Nike SB and Stussy continue to inspire with their growing team consisting of skaters such as Cyrus Bennett, Tyler Bledsoe, Dick Rizzo, Nick Matthews and Caleb McNeely.
