Seen here in a silver colourway, this Butter Goods Jungle Groove T-Shirt is made from 6oz cotton and features a large screen printed design that covers the majority of the front. Positioned centrally on the chest, the artwork shows stylised ‘Jungle Groove’ text in tones of pink and purple arranged around three monochrome photographs of James Brown. Adding branding to the design, below this additional text reads ‘Butter Worldwide’ in the same typeface. Designed for casual everyday wear the curved neckline has a flexible ribbed trim whilst the body and short sleeves have straight cut hems.
Inspired by James Brown’s compilation album ‘In The Jungle Groove’ released in August 1986 by Polydor Records, this t-shirt has new artwork designed in house by the Butter Goods team. Known for drawing influence from music, this release focuses on Funkadelic, Dorothy Norwood and James Brown with an array of quality cut and sew pieces such as t-shirts, hoodies, shorts, and tracksuits carrying each design.
