Nike SB BRSB Shoes

Nike SB BRSB Shoes in White, Varsity Red and Varsity Royal. Inspired by the original Nike Cortez from ‘72, the Nike SB BRSB is a performative skate shoe enhanced with technical advancements for increased boardfeel and comfort. Styled with neutral coloured suede uppers, with canvas across the heel and midfoot, this multi textured skate shoe boasts the same iconic colourway as its muse. A cushioned foam midsole is complemented by a fully vulcanised construction and a drop-in Nike React foam insole, whilst the contoured rubber outsole features an over exaggerated sawtooth tread for increased traction and periwinkle blue peep-out windows across each heel. Heightened foxings wrap around the heel and toe for durability, whilst the reinforced sidewalls provide an extra layer of support across areas such as the ollie zone. A recessed lacing system secures the woven ‘Nike SB’ tongue in place through the jagged edge eyestays and flat laces, whilst red leather side wall Swooshes are mirrored by tonal heel details and small embroidered Swooshes sewn across each exterior facing forefoot.

Inspired by Nike’s first ever track shoe, the Cortez, and redesigned in a like-for-like colourway popularised by the likes of George Costanza, Whitney Houston and Forrest Gump, the Nike SB BRSB pays homage to its origins with its ‘Blue Ribbon’ SB namesake. Merging references to its 1972 predecessor with an appreciation for innovative design, skate-specific functionality and contemporary function.
