Kavu Synthetic Strap Cap in Blackout. The design that helped launch Kavu into the spotlight, this Synthetic Strap Cap reflects the brands roots with a simple but effective design that ensures a snug fit suited to wear whilst active. The 4 panel crown is constructed from water resistant polyester which continues across the slightly curved bill which has a black underside and a flexible finish. Patterned nylon tubular webbing wraps around the base of the crown which adds distinctive decoration whilst also continuing around the reverse where it becomes an adjustable strap closure allowing you to customise the fit to suit.

Developed by Barry Barr prior to Kavu’s official launch in 1993, the Strap Cap was created following his experiences on fishing boat trips where he would often lose his caps due to high winds and rough sea conditions. Acting as a solution to this, Barr would sell the cap designs out of the back of his car and saw the design gain popularity which led to the creation of Kavu and an expansion of the product offering. Constructed in the same way today as it always has been, the Strap Cap is a highly durable design that will see you through many adventures.
