Vans Rowan Pro Shoes

Arriving as part of a debut range of Rowan Zorilla pro models, this monochrome edition of the Vans Rowan Pro Shoes have been constructed with durable fabric and suede uppers with a leather heel tab which stands up to repetitive wear whilst also giving the low-cut silhouette a streamlined look. The toe vamp is suede with an additional overlay that continues to either side for ollie area protection and triple top stitching ensures a long lasting finish. The same suede has been used for the laces border which holds crisp white laces in place on top of a padded fabric tongue that sits comfortably around the top of the foot. A custom Vans x Rowan label has been positioned close to the top edge of the tongue and a smaller Vans flag label can be seen to one side. On the inner side section two metal eyelets encourage ventilation and throughout the inside of the shoe a fabric lining ensures all-day comfort alongside a removable, moulded PopCush footbed and elastic tongue-centuring straps. On either side of the foot top stitching outlines the signature Vans side stripe silhouette and on the back of the heel a black leather insert provides the background for an embossed logo design. An additional curved suede panel sits below and on the back of the durable white sickSTICK rubber outsole a red and white Vans Off The Wall stamp has been added. Providing increased grip, flexibility and durability, the tread pattern features a waffle-hexagon profile.

Known for his versatile, adaptive style Rowan Zorilla is a California native who has been signed to Vans since 2013. As part of the infamous ‘Shep Dawgs’ skate crew alongside the likes of Taylor Smith, Riley Hawk, Nick Popes and Tanner Cribbs, Zorilla is well known throughout the industry so it’s no surprise Vans have given him his first pro footwear style for the start of 2020, arriving in a selection of colourways and accompanied by apparel adorned with custom artwork.
