Garment washed for softness and to reduce shrinking, this pumice coloured How To Help Organic T-Shirt from Patagonia is a regular fitting style made from 100% organic jersey sourced from member farms associated with the Texas Organic Cotton Marketing Cooperative. The curved neckline has a narrow flexible ribbed trim and the shoulders have taped seams for comfort and fit retention. Applied using PVC and phthalate-free inks, custom artwork promotes a conscious lifestyle with an illustration of a tree clad mountain on the left side of the chest with stylised ‘Patagonia’ lettering through the centre and a sun in the background. The same design can be seen again to a larger scale on the reverse with stylised ‘How You Can Help Mother Earth’ lettering above and underneath ‘Wake up. Eat real food. Learn how to cook. Grow a garden. Trade seeds with your neighbours. Ride a bike. Go organic. Vote!’. For a clean finish the body and short sleeves have straight cut hems.
Using 84% less water and creating 16% less CO2 than a conventional cotton t-shirt, this new season style from Patagonia has been designed as part of the Root for Revolution Collection which celebrates a growing movement to build an agricultural system that generates life rather than strips it away. Practising what they preach, Patagonia are constantly improving their own manufacturing systems to reduce their impact upon the planet whether this is through the use of post consumer materials, chemical free finishes or Fair Trade Certification.
