A design that celebrates his 2017 appointment to Deathwish Skateboards, these brown and gum 306 Jamie Foy Deathwish Shoes from New Balance Numeric combine all there is to love about the fast-paced pro-skaters energetic attitude and New Balance’s love for performance-built profiles. Delivering a modernised upgrade across a classic design, these vulcanised skate shoes are styled with single-tone earthy brown brushed-suede uppers, whilst the visible rubber underlay beneath the ‘N’ patch embroidered side-panels delivers a more deconstructed sense of appeal. A molded EVA insole is paired with custom Deathwish graffiti boom-box detailing in yellow and red, whilst the gum-rubber outsole delivers superior grip and multi-directional traction from first wear. Closed-cell polyurethane inserts help promote active impact protection when paired with any impact-attracting skate style, with the internal hidden toe protection and the minimal forefoot rubber trims working in unison to enhance boardfeel and reduce unwanted friction. Subtle red-stitch trims can be seen across the edges of the branded side panels to match the ‘NB# Jamie Foy Deathwish’ commemorative gusset-tongue label and the embroidered Deathwish-logo ankle collar. A single metallic lacing eyelet is joined by a recessed 5-eyelet flat lacing system that helps tie the skate shoe together to implement a more snug and secure fitting than its similarly styled counterparts.
A three-way collaboration between twin-signed team rider Jamie Foy, New Balance and Deathwish Skateboards, these exclusive NM306 skate shoes combine breathability, boardfeel and boisterous energy into one unique profile. The brushed brown colourway keeps it classic, whilst the pops of colour across the graffiti-clad custom insoles and the embroidered decals help bring to life the much-loved character of all three contributors.
