Featuring all black canvas uppers with neat contrasting white top stitching, these Converse CTAS 70’s Hi Shoes have a truly classic design which has been updated with modern features to ensure the best in comfort and quality. The raised collar silhouette helps to hold the ankle in place with a full length white lace up fastening and a soft canvas tongue that wraps around the top of the foot. A durable rubber toe cap ensures a high level of durability in this key area and on the inner side panel a white embossed ‘Chuck Taylor Converse All Star’ leather patch adds a signature touch to the design. Within the shoe an Ortholite sockliner has been added as well as a Nike Zoom Air unit within the heel for comfort and support. The layered white outsole is vulcanised and incorporates a textured panel around the toes, a black foxing tape line and a rubber heel stamp. Completing the design, the light brown sole ensures a high level of grip with a detailed pattern.
A heritage brand that has remained true to its original vision and design, Converse was founded in 1908 as the Converse Rubber Shoe Company in Malden, Massachusetts. In 1917 the iconic All Star was introduced, followed by the Chuck Taylor in 1932 and more recently the CONS line which offers skateboarding orientated footwear fuelled by performance.
