Accompanying the documentary titled 180° South feature, this book is full of words and images not shown in the film and has been written, on a personal account, by Yvon Chouinard, Jeff Johnson and Chris Malloy. Accompanied by photographs from Jeff Johnson, Jimmy Chin, Scott Soens and Danny Moder, this book is dedicated to anyone planning their next expedition or with a love for the great outdoors. In 1968 four keen climbers, skiiers and surfers set out to climb Cerro Fitz Roy - the mountain that can be seen on the famous Patagonia logo - and documented their travels using a 16mm Bolex. Re-released in 2018, the film has become an underground classic and has inspired many outdoor enthusiasts to follow in their footsteps.
