Carhartt WIP. began making overall garments for USA railroad workers in 1889 with the goal of manufacturing the highest quality and most durable work wear available. The brand grew alongside other labels such as Dickies and Levi's in the US to become a work wear go-to in the major cities. In recent years Carhartt is now a recognised leader in street fashion adopting up-to-date fits, melding with Carhartt work wear heritage.
The WIP. (Work in Progress) label, is Carhartt's European design sibling producing seasonal collections of jackets, shirts and accessories. Jackets such as the Michigan and Active are joined by new designs such as the Nimbus Pullover and Siberian Parkas. The classic work pants and trousers of yester year, Single Knee and Simple pants have been reissued in a 20th WIP year edition pack with original fits and fabrics finished with anniversary detailing.
