A new style for spring that has been labelled as Patagonia’s lowest carbon footprint t-shirt, this design has been cut to a regular fit and features a vintage inspired woven label. Made from a combination of recycled cotton and postconsumer recycled polyester, the curved neckline has a narrow ribbed trim and a shaped patch pocket sits on the left side of the chest where a colourful rectangular label shows two breaking blue tone waves against a sunset background. The shoulder seams have been taped for comfort and fit retention and straight cut hems give a clean finish to the body and short sleeves. Sizing info has been printed onto the inner nape of the neck using PVC and phthalate-free inks.
Made using 0.26 pounds of scrap fabric and 4.8 discarded bottles, this 100% recycled t-shirt from Patagonia perfectly demonstrates the brands ongoing commitment to reducing their environmental impact and proudly uses 96% less water and creates 45% less CO2 than a conventional cotton t-shirt. Leading the way when it comes to creating practical, everyday styles with attention to production and material, Patagonia have looked to the Mississippi River Basin for inspiration this season.
