A sub brand from the legendary Levi Strauss denim company, Levi’s Skateboarding adds increased durability and comfort through superior construction to classic Levi workwear styles. The collections maintain their rich denim and workwear heritage; classic cut button up shirts, collared labour jackets and cotton work trousers all get extra attention to provide incredible abrasion resistance, designed for purpose and to withstand ‘the grind of life’. Making sure they’re doing more than just providing clothing for skateboarders, Levi’s Skate also proudly supports local skate communities through their non-profit volunteer lead projects.
Levi’s produced the first pair of blue denim jeans in 1873, recognisable by their red logo tag their reputation within the denim industry needs no explanation. The introduction of new lines has meant Levi’s has remained relevant and in demand through the waves of change in the industry over the last few decades. Alongside Levi’s Skateboarding, other lines such as the Levi’s Commuter have provided modern day, versatile alternatives that are suited to high impact and high movement activities.
Well known styles like the 501 Original has been reimagined for skateboarding, a CORDURA fibre has been added for unrivaled durability whilst maintaining the look, comfort and feel of 100% denim. Levi’s prove that even the small details make all the difference; rivet reinforcement, small stash pockets and elastane blended into certain denim styles provide additional movement and ensure you’re never held back by your clothing.
An undeniably rich history, for over 140 years Levi’s has been crafting high quality products for a range of industries. Expressing their commitment to social and environmental progress Levi’s Skate provides support to communities through local skateboard donations, park builds and shop partnerships. The Fall/Winter 2018 collection saw the team visit a small fishing village in Taghazout, Morocco, a place in need of recreational areas. The Make Life Skate Life project is nonprofit, 100% volunteer lead and creates free of charge skateparks for local skateboarding communities.
