Sadly passing in 2017, Fred Beckey is known for climbing more first ascents than any other North American climber. Continuing to follow his passion into his early ‘80s, his nomadic life and free spirited legacy is honoured through the feature documentary entitled ‘Dirtbag: The Legend of Fred Beckey’ released by Patagonia in 2018.
