Workwear Jackets from Carhartt, Dickies and Levi's
Workwear Jackets are plenty versatile, classic cuts in tough fabrics so you can do stuff without destroying them on the first outing. The construction and materials are about trying to attain some movement, ideally whilst offering up some warmth. You can't do anything if you can't move your arms right? With over 391 years of collective experience, Carhartt, Dickies and Levi's shaped the workwear traditions.
The Carhartt Detroit jacket and the Dickies Eisenhower jacket are both square cut at the waste with adjusters for fit. The cuffs adapt too with poppers and buttons respectively so you can bed into a good fit if you are layering up. The Eisenhower as available in lined and unlined variations, the quilted nylon lining giving a lot of warmth without making it a bulky fit. The Detroit jacket is triple stitched on the seams, a workwear hallmark... again, the aim is this stuff won't break. The Levi's Skate long coaches jacket is a more modern silhouette, a cross between the iconic coach jacket shape and a more formal trench coat.
Also in this select is the Dickies Kempton Shirt which is roughly speaking your halfway house between a shirt and jacket. Durbale ripstop fabric with double stitched seems, really feeling the camouflage.
