Pop Trading Company x New Balance M1500 Shoes

In their second collaboration of the year, Amsterdam based Pop Trading Company offers a fresh reinterpretation of the New Balance 1500 ‘Made In England’ Shoes. Prepared for countless styling options, both colourways utilise a premium blend of materials combined with handmade construction, made in the coastal village of Flimby, UK.

The electric yellow iteration uses a combination of pigskin suede and mesh to offer a comfortable burst of colour to any outfit, complemented by tonal embroidery. The subtle off-white colourway offers a more quality finish through tumbled leather, featuring contrast embroidery highlighting ‘1500’, ‘NB’ and ‘Made in England’ detailing. Both silhouettes feature a reflective ‘N’ logo on the quarter panels, a Pop branded lace lock and white ENCAP midsoles which promise all-day comfort.

Made at the sporting brand's British factory in Flimby, high quality production ensures that this sneaker’s silhouette stands up to the test of time. Operating since 1982, the cumbria base of NB birthed the 1500 in 1989 and the two have been synonymous ever since - even leading to several collaborations over the years.

Although maybe not built for the board, this collection offers the seamless combination of support and style that you would expect from two industry giants. With a contrasting colouring proving that through a tonal upper, a collaboration focused on simplicity can be effortlessly perfect.
