Polar Skate Co. ‘We Blew It At Some Point’

Working in conjunction with our sister store, Always in Colour, we recently hosted a screening for the new Polar Skate Co. full length film, titled ‘We Blew It At Some Point’. Prior and post screening the vibe surrounding the shop was rad, skaters popped up from all over, with familiar faces in abundance. Beers steadily flowed and catchups were had, we’re stoked on the turnout, so big ups for everyone who attended.

Featuring the ever strong roster, with full parts from the majority of team riders, the Malmö lads killed it. As we’ve come to expect with Polar, creativity emitted throughout, visible in the tricks, gear and of course the filming and editing with an ingenious art direction from Pontus. To finish off with the production side, the soundtrack was on point, with some well curated tracks throughout, offering steady tunes to high paced lines and bangers.

The skating in ‘We Blew It At Some Point’ was next level, blending full powerhouse hammers with tech, you get deep in some high speed lines with the fish eye filming. The spots skated were a lifetime away from the pristine school-yards of California, with most of the tricks being worked on crusty ledges, gnarly rails, hesh tranny and the synonymous DIY spots, which is definitely something that sets the Polar videos apart.

Though everyone in the video killed it, standout clips came from Nick Boserio and Oskar Rozenberg - just check that Hail Mary ally-oop nose blunt ender.

Just around the corner to keep you stoked, the Fall 2018 collection from Polar Skate Co. drops next Friday, on 7th September, bringing the usual heat. Stay tuned for upcoming products.
