Following his latest studio album ‘JACKBOYS’ which was released at the end of 2019, Nike SB has teamed up with American rapper, singer, songwriter and record producer Travis Scott to create a unique pair of Nike SB x Travis Scott Dunk Low Premium Shoes. Presenting a mish-mash of textures and prints, the design is inspired by Scott’s upbringing in Houston, Texas combined with his own experimental personal style which has led him to gain a reputation for being one of the most influential individuals in contemporary music and fashion. A day after the JACKBOYS album release, the music video for the title track was unveiled and saw Scott donning a pair of the new Nike SB x Travis Scott Dunk Low Premium Shoes which kick started a high level of hype surrounding the designs release.
In tune with a trend for customisation which is set to be big for 2020, surrounding the tartan side panels and parachute beige inserts, denim-like overlays are adorned with a white paisley bandana print which is designed to wear away throughout time to reveal underlays that match the toe vamp, highly padded tongue and back of the heel where embossed lettering has also been added. Perforation has been added at the toe to increase ventilation and above the option for using off-white rope-style laces brings additional texture to the design, or if you’d prefer additional sets of normal black and light pink coloured laces are also included. The tartan side panel inserts differ in tone from the inner and outer side, as do the nubuck Swoosh ticks which have elongated tips that meet around the back of the heel.
A signature of any dunk model, the tongue is highly padded for comfort and has a brown piped top edge with a narrow woven label bearing stylised ‘Cactus Jack’ lettering added below which replaces the usual Nike SB logo. On the back of the heel embroidered ‘Nike’ lettering sits on top of a curved fabric overlay that covers the join of the Swoosh ticks. Throughout the inside of the shoe a dense mesh lining matches the underside of the tongue and the insole is customised by an all over paisley print alongside the same ‘Cactus Jack’ logo. Comparable to original Nike SB Dunk models, the cupsole is made from high quality rubber and has a layered two tone design with a skateboarding-focused grip design that provides reliable traction and includes a circular pivot point at the forefoot.
Having signed to Epic Records for his first major-record deal in 2012 and later with Kanye West’s GOOD music which has led to an array of albums, including the notable Huncho Jack, Jack Huncho and Astroworld - also the name of the music festival founded by Scott that takes place every year in his home city of Houston, Texas - Travis remains firmly in the spotlight as we head into the new decade. A known fan of Nike and a previous collaborator on Nike Air Max 270 React and Air Force 1 Low models, this is the first collaboration between Nike SB and Travis Scott and captures the Dunk’s endless versatility as an iconic silhouette that is continually reimagined and redesigned by leading creatives, influencers and pro riders.

Winners will be chosen at the official product release on Saturday 29th February 2020 at 8:00AM (GMT) and we will aim to confirm both successful and unsuccessful entries within five-six hours.
For each release we will invite those interested to enter a draw to purchase prior to the products actual designated time of release. Card payment will be required to register for each draw and your payment will be authorised but the funds not taken by us unless your name is successfully drawn at the designated time and date of the actual release.
If you are unsuccessful in the draw the pre-authorisation will be voided and your funds released, it may take up to five working days before you see your funds available in your account again.
