Nike SB Orange Label 'Unbleached Pack'
Looking to organic colourways and ready-to-dye aesthetics for their latest Orange Label ‘Unbleached’ pack, Nike SB focuses on uncoloured constructions and disassembled detailing for this timely HO21 drop. Joined by the Nike SB Dunk Low ‘Lilac’, this latest three-part release welcomes a more natural take on three of the skatewear brand’s most popular silhouettes; the Nike SB Dunk High Pro, Nike SB Blazer Mid and Nike SB Blazer Low Pro GT.

Arriving as part of Nike SB’s #supportyourlocalskateshop Orange Label initiative that has also welcomed signature releases for the likes of team riders such as Leo Baker and Oskar Rozenberg, Nike SB’s ode to neutral colour palettes is one that centres around individualistic expression and authentic character at its centre. Proactively serving as a blank canvas for sneakerheads to dip-dye, paint and alter to their liking, the unbleached Nike SB Dunk High Pro, Blazer Mid and Blazer Low GT act as a refined complement to their dip-dyed ‘Lilac’ Dunk Low Pro counterpart. Styled with similarity to the undyed natural linen Maharam x Nike Zoom Tennis Classic from 2011 and the Nike SB Dunk Low ‘Green Hemp’ from earlier this year, Nike SB turns to classic colouring for HO21; a welcomed change in direction from more recent ideational designs such as the ‘Unicorn Gundam’ inspired Nike SB Dunk High and their ‘Little Debbie’s’ Zebra Cake inspired Dunk Low OG designed in collaboration with Quartersnacks.
Paying creative tribute once more to the division’s hayday ‘90s fruition with their throwback aesthetics, premium cotton canvas and brushed white leather overlays are the fabrics of choice for this inventive three-part release. Delivering a deconstructed sense of appeal through their unprocessed fabrications, the high collared Dunk High and Blazer Mid combine cushioned collars with classic courtside character to ensure a highly comfortable skate regardless of setting. Revisions to Grant Taylor’s Blazer Low Pro GT merges updates to the foxing tape and underlays with two tone uncoloured uppers for a white and beige contrast, with Nike’s performative Zoom Air unit a retained feature in all three designs. Intricately embroidered ‘Nike’ branding appears across the rear heel of each silhouette for a textured take on tradition, with the premium sidewall Swooshes on each design bringing elevated tactile dimension to this neutral-hued ‘Unbleached’ release. In honour of Nike SB’s inspiring Orange Label collection, custom embroidered Orange Label Swoosh adorned tongues, colourful lace aglets and exclusive insoles are designed to bring a slight pop of creative colour to each silhouette, with the collection’s admiration for progressive styling ingrained into each of the ‘Unbleached’ pack instalments.
Taking subtle inspiration from the PT10 Orange Label release from May of this year, a capsule collection that focused on updating 2019’s infamous ‘White Pack’ to celebrate classic collegiate colourings of white and navy, Nike SB’s ‘Unbleached’ Orange Label release honours the ‘73 remastered Blazer Mid, the 1985 launched Dunk High and 2009 appointed team rider Grant Taylor’s Blazer Low GT with a focus on celebrating the raw construction and untainted principal character of each design at its core.
