Drawing on Thai food culture and timed with Songkran New Year celebrations, this Dunk draws from Som Tum, balancing texture, detail, and everyday function. A soft suede upper is paired with rattan-style textile underlays, echoing the hand-woven kratip baskets used to serve sticky rice, adding subtle depth through texture. The OG padded tongue and cushioned collar keep it comfortable all day, while a woven tongue label and custom inner tongue tags build on the story. Suede Swooshes and a debossed, stitched silver heel panel keep the look clean, with interchangeable laces to switch things up. Underfoot, printed insole artwork takes inspiration from traditional rice bags, while the Zoom Air heel unit features a lotus flower reference for a quieter nod to Thai heritage. Finished with a classic rubber cupsole and circular tread with pivot circle for reliable grip.
