Presenting artwork inspired by James Brown’s compilation album ‘In The Jungle Groove’ released in August 1986, this black Butter Goods Jungle Groove T-Shirt features large screen printed artwork across the front, designed in house by the BG team. Made from 6oz cotton and designed for everyday wear, the curved neckline has a flexible ribbed trim whilst the body and short sleeves have straight cut hems. Covering the majority of the front stylised ‘Jungle Groove’ text has been printed in tones of purple and green and have been rotated to fit around three monochrome photographs of the singer James Brown. Adding branding to the design, ‘Butter Worldwide’ text has been added below in the same typeface.
Launched in 2008 between two school friends Garth Mariano and Matt Evans, Butter Goods is an independent clothing brand based in Perth, Australia. Drawing inspiration from music, design and skateboarding - particularly during the 90’s era - each season introduces a fresh selection of custom graphics designed in house across t-shirts, hoodies and accessories.
