A new capsule range from Adidas Skateboarding, the collaborative ‘Respect Your Roots’ collection celebrates skateboarding legends. The artist, director and professional skateboarder Brian Lotti has added his personal touch through this edition which has been designed around a Campus 80s reissue. The exclusive style showcases custom Brian Lotti artwork on the tongue and sockliner.
Boasting a premium collegiate navy nubuck upper, white Adidas three stripes and core white sole, the leather accents and special detailing make this a unique offering. The white leather heel tab has a contrast navy blue Adidas logo and the inner ankle support is light purple. The rainbow coloured sockliner has printed Brian Lotti artwork, confirmed with the endorsed tongue label. Fresh bright white laces complete the shoe and bring together other sections. As expected, this style has premium Adidas comfort alongside a killer aesthetic, the tongue has been given extra inner padding to provide premium comfort and the heel has been reinforced with a cushioned insole.
The Campus 80s style was originally named the Tournament and was released in the early 1970s. After being renamed in 1980 the design proved popular with ionic rap group The Beastie Boys in the 1990s. The 'Respect Your Roots' collection pays honour to skateboarding legends, each release is very exclusive with a limited number of styles available.
