Arriving as part of The Quiet Life x Beth Hoeckel capsule range, these navy Beach Shorts are made from lightweight cotton which has been digitally printed to feature a vibrant all over print. The wide waistband is elasticated with a white cotton external pullcord complete with branded aglets, and two generously sized pockets have been added either side. On the edge of the left leg, stylised ‘Quiet Life’ text has been embroidered in black which sits subtly against the patterned background. On the reverse a welt pocket has been added onto the right size and a white woven label can be seen above.
On and off since 1997, The Quiet Life are based in Los Angeles and draw inspiration from their local community of artists, makers and photographers. Guest artist Beth Hoeckel is known for her multidisciplinary talents and collage - the famous ‘Singles’ album by Future Islands features a piece of hers - which can be seen across a range of shirts, goodies and beach styles for summer 19, exclusive to TQL.
