Inspired by the brands rocky surroundings, the Stussy Sierra Pigment Dyed Pocket Long Sleeve T-Shirt features a small screen-printed graphic on the left chest pocket of a multicoloured mountain range with Stussy branding in the sky. The garment itself has been treated with a pigment dye, which not only offers a unique finish to every piece through a faded aesthetic but additionally ensures a worn-in feel to the 100% cotton body. Finally a ribbed trim has been added to the neckline and sleeve cuffs for retention to its regular fit.
Stussy was founded by Shawn Stussy coming from an inspiration rooted in the Californian surf culture that surrounded him in Laguna Beach, which perfectly blended into the global surf wear trend that grew in the latter half of the twentieth century. Over the past forty years the brand has gone on to incorporate countless subcultures to their ready-to-wear silhouettes.
