The Stussy Basic Stussy T-Shirt is a perfect, lightly coloured tee ready for summer. Featuring a thinly ribbed crewneck which provides retention to the regular fit. The 100% cotton backdrop is in a light vanilla colouring, contrasted by a lilac screen printed Stussy logo on the left chest which is then blown up across the back. A classic staple re-released every season by the brand, this basic tee is a must cop which is revived in both colour and styling to keep it as relevant as the very first release.
Stussy was founded in 1979 by Shawn Stussy, with a logo developed from a signature drawn in thick black marker that was initially brandished on surfboards made in a garage. However thanks to a childhood in screen printing combined with a deep involvement in the Laguna surf-culture, Stussy was able to start creating unique clothes that eventually snowballed in popularity (and have continued to do so) with now over sixty global stores and hundreds of collaborations behind their back. This has cemented the brand’s place in streetwear history.
