Working in collaboration with New York based artist Jack Greer, the Polar x Iggy 93 Denim Jeans reimagine the classic silhouette of 100% cotton (345 gsm) trousers. The heavyweight and durable fabric features a five pocket design, including coin pocket, with a YKK zipper and button fastening for a secure fit to the semi-baggy design, which offers generous room for a natural range of movement while skating. A small embroidered 93 character sits on the change pocket, while an all over screen print of a chains design, in a contrasting light blue stands out against the dark blue denim.
Jack Greer is a LA born artist, who although specialising as a filmmaker now additionally works in the garment industry. His brand Iggy conveys a style of streetwear in the nineties, prior to its recent commercialisation, with culturally subversive graphics with a satirical spin.
