Designed with artwork entitled The Strongest of the Strange, this black graphic t-shirt from Polar Skate Co. is made from 210 gsm 100% cotton and has front and back screen prints designed by the brands founder, Pontus Alv. Made for everyday wear, the body has been cut to a regular fit, the neckline has a ribbed trim adding flexibility and comfort, whilst the hem of the sleeves and body has a straight finish. Printed centrally on the front is a black and white photograph which references one Pontus Alv’s earliest films ‘The Strongest of the Strange’.
Known for his unique and creative design eye, Pontus Alv draws constant inspiration from art, culture and the surrounding skate scene within Malmö, Sweden. For the spring 19 collection, his work can be seen alongside graphics created by the brands graphic designer Jacob Ovgren and multimedia artist Stefan Narancic.
