This 8" Team Special Operators Deck from Polar Skate Co. is made from 7-ply maple and has been designed with a 14.25" wheelbase. Both sides feature custom artwork by Stefan Narancic which shows a variety of shapes and characters coloured to a monochrome palette on the top side and designed to a brighter colour palette underneath. Amongst the shapes, snippets of text read 'Polar' 'Vex' 'Chops' and 'Bops' which adds further character. A full colour wash provides a strong background for the illustrations which varies between each deck.
Based in Malmö, Sweden and founded by Pontus Alv, Polar are known for distinctive artwork seen across seasonal collections designed by hand picked creatives and team riders - such as Emile Laurent - which often feature throughout multiple releases, resulting in a strong offering of custom artwork across decks, tees, pullovers and outerwear.
