Polar Team I Prefer Marble Deck

This black Polar team deck measures to 8.0" in width and has been cut from high quality 7-ply Canadian maple. Titled 'I Prefer Marble' artwork designed by the brands founder Pontus Alv can be seen on both the top and underside of the deck, including a blue illustration of a stone figure and head within a white rectangle with handwritten text in between reading 'I look good in bronze. I prefer marble' in black. This design continues on the underside positioned centrally against a solid black background with a blue outlined illustration of a head and white 'So here it ends a statue in a park' lettering on top and a circular Polar stroke logo emblem below. The topside has a full colour wash that varies between each model.

Having founded Polar back in 2011 Pontus Alv reflects his unique design style across each season for apparel, accessories and skate decks which sets the brand apart from other independent skate companies on the scene. Through experimental videos such as 'The Strongest of The Strange' and 'I Like It Here Inside My Mind' which set the tone of Polar's aesthetic, Alv continues to experiment with mixed mediums and keeps the offering fresh for each collection alongside the work of Jacob Ovgren and guest artists such as Tynan Kerr.
