Polar Paul Grund Medusa Desires Deck

Illustrated by Polar's own in-house illustrator Jacob Ovgren, this 8.5" black Paul Grund signature model features new artwork entitled 'Medusa Desires' on the top and underside. Positioned above the lower truck hole set, a monochrome illustration shows a figure lying on the pavement next to the entrance to 'Le Medusa' with stylised Polar Skate Co. lettering underneath followed by 'artwork by Jacob Ovgren'. On the underside the design continues with another illustration of a character in yellow against a tiled background with a thought bubble above showing a similar scene to the front. Below bold 'Paul Grund' text in white signifies the model. This deck is made from high quality 7-ply Canadian maple and has been manufactured in Mexico by BBS.

Based in Malmö, Sweden Jacob Ovgren is known for his playful approach to design which often includes incorporating lesser discussed themes and cartoon style humour for artwork that tells a story and brings a distinctive character to anything it is presented against. This season Ovgren has introduced a fresh selection of art for apparel, accessories and skate decks which are in tune with Polar's own vision yet also show his own personality which proves a favourite of founder Pontus Alv each release.
